These terms govern use of the BreakZero platform at platform.usebreakzero.com ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you're accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent you're authorized to bind it.
BreakZero ingests financial records your organization connects or uploads, reconciles them against bank activity, surfaces exceptions, and supports a certified month-end close. Connections to your systems are read-only: the Service cannot move money or write to your systems.
You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the security of your credentials, and the actions taken under your organization's accounts. Administrators control who in their organization has access and at what role. Tell us promptly at contact@usebreakzero.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your organization owns its data. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, and display it to your authorized users in order to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy — and for no other purpose. When you connect a third-party system, you confirm your organization is authorized to grant that access.
Don't attempt to access another organization's data, probe or disrupt the Service, misrepresent your identity, or use the Service to violate law or third-party rights (including the platform terms of systems you connect).
Paid plans are as agreed in your order or as published at usebreakzero.com/pricing. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or agreed in writing.
The Service is provided "as is". We work hard to make the reconciliation accurate and the platform available, but we don't warrant uninterrupted operation, and the Service does not constitute accounting, tax, or legal advice — certification decisions remain your organization's responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees your organization paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time; we may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms. On closure we delete your organization's data as described in the Privacy Policy, and will provide an export of your data on request made within 30 days.
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to account administrators with the new effective date. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. Questions: contact@usebreakzero.com.
